The English Literary Club of GHSS Meenangadi was inaugurated on 9th June 2008. The Club has been very active ever since under the able guidance of the teachers of English and the Headmistress M/s S Rajam.Various programs had been arranged by the Department of English for the linguistic and personal development of the students of this school. The various programs include School level English Literary Quiz, Drama, Skit, Mime, Extempore Speech, etc.
It is our pride that our school was selected the venue for the District Quiz competition, 2009 and our efforts found fruitful when Safna Gafoor of our school bagged first place in the Quiz competition.
The club activities of the year 2010 was inaugurated by
Dr.P.A.Mathai,lecturer,St.Mary's College,Sulthanbathery. The inaugural ceremony was presided over by the P.T.A Vice President Mr.Nazir.Sri.M.S.Narayanan master,State Teacher's Award Winner of this school made felicitations.Aiswarya Raveendran (10th B)and Christy Paul (10th A) anchored the program .Literary activities like Group Songs,Choreography, Skit,Recitation etc.were also performed.
